These are 7 lessons designed for a lower level (L1-3) KS3 English group but could be used at primary or for intervention. It includes some modified/differentiated tasks, dyslexia friendly background, visual cue symbols and friendly font. It introduces the concept of gothic literature and then focuses on Frankenstein, culminating in pupils producing a point, evidence explain paragraph. This is a mini project which lasts between 6 and 8 one hour lessons depending on age, ability nd background knowledge. Pupils research theme parks, creating a leaflet and presenting it to the class (S&L), then design their own and use descriptive language to explain their rides and attractions. They then review their peers theme parks to begin to understand how to structure a review.
